Open to grades 10, 11, and 12

In this course you will learn how culture affects yours and others’ education experience.  We will explore your personal culture, cultural constructs, and biases that are found in the classroom.  You will develop techniques to support all students in the classroom including, but not limited to, English Language Learners, special education students, and low-SES students.

This course is transcripted through CVTC and part of their Foundations of Teacher Education pathway program.  This is a required course if you are planning to take the Foundations of Teacher Education Practicum course senior year.
