Graduation Requirement: Students must either take Personal Finance or Adulting 101 to meet the Financial Literacy graduation requirement.
NOTE: This course is transcripted with CVTC. Students who register for this course and are successful in completing the requirements for the program will receive free elective credits at CVTC. These credits are transferable to many other colleges and universities.
Use the skills you learn in Personal Finance and it will change your financial future and set you on a path to win with money. In this class, you will be empowered, equipped, and entertained while building confidence in
your own financial decision-making. You will learn strategies to build wealth so that you can have money to do the things you want to do, buy the things you want without going into debt, and retire wealthy. You will learn how to navigate college finances without burdening yourself with a lot of student loan debt. You’ll learn practical money management and investment strategies you can put to work now and in the future. Simply put, you’re never going to look at money in the same way again.
