Two Quarters: Must be taken with 460B AP Calculus - Level AB ***

Open to grades 11 and 12

Prerequisite:  Completion of Intro Calculus with a minimum grade of B.


Calculus is one of the most important of all branches of mathematics and is considered a primary building block for most areas of science. It is required at the college level for virtually all math and science-related fields and many areas of business. This course is the equivalent to at least one semester of calculus offered at most colleges and universities. Upon completion of the course, students may be able to test out and receive credit for one semester of college calculus by attaining a satisfactory score on the Advanced Placement Calculus exam-level AB. A graphing calculator is required (TI-83+ or TI-83 is recommended).
